디어 컬렉션 ‘Dear’ Collection은 임시적이고 순간적인 것들을 위한 유연한 틀을 마련해주고자 기획된 제품입니다. 각종 고지서나 중요한 서류처럼 잘 보관해야 하지만 마땅한 자리를 찾기 어려운 문서부터 티켓, 사진, 편지 등 소소하지만 추억이 담긴 비규격의 사물까지 담아둘 수 있습니다.
텍스트 샌드위치 1주년을 기념해 라이프스타일 기획자 나연(@collour)과 함께 협업해 완성한 디어 컬렉션은 신중하면서도 예리한 시선으로 현대적 삶의 가치를 탐구한 결과물입니다.
일상을 다시 바라보고 정돈하며 소중히 여길 것들을 상기시켜줄 이번 제품은 간결하면서도 우아한 ’미니멀 엘레강스‘를 강조해온 텍스트 샌드위치의 조형 언어를 충실히 따릅니다. 여기에 새로운 시도를 반영해 고전미와 현대적 감각을 동시에 표현했습니다. 알루미늄 판재를 나사로 조여 완성한 디테일은 산업적인 아름다움을 드러내고, 속이 들여다보이는 오픈 형태는 평면적이면서도 입체적인 오묘한 장면을 만들어냅니다.
The ‘Dear’ Collection is designed to provide a flexible frame for the temporary and the fleeting. From essential documents like bills and important papers that require safekeeping but often lack a proper place, to tickets, photographs, letters, and other irregular keepsakes imbued with personal memories—this collection holds them all with care.
Created in collaboration with lifestyle curator Nayeon (@collour) to celebrate Text Sandwich’s first anniversary, Dear Collection is the result of a thoughtful and precise exploration into the values of contemporary life.
Encouraging us to pause, organize, and cherish what matters, the collection faithfully follows Text Sandwich’s sculptural language of Minimal Elegance, while incorporating new gestures that merge classical beauty with a modern sensibility. Aluminium panels, fastened with screws, reveal an industrial refinement, while the open, see-through structure creates subtle scenes that feel at once flat and spatial.
